Crocus Farewell II

... and here Crocus 'Prins Claus', named in honor of Prince Claus, who was the husband of now retiring Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands. This plant is a selection from Crocus chrysanthus, or Crocus biflorus - who knows exactly? Anyway, it's a fine crocus, usually flowering quite early in the year, this year it is was definitely too late, however - but better late than never!
