Weldenia candida is one of the most beautiful members of the Spiderwort family, Commelinaceae. The delicate pure white flowers find their equivalent only in the white flowers of some crocus species. The rare and unusual plant grows in Mexico, at altitudes of more than 3000 meters / 10,000 feet. Thus, Weldenia is a typical plant for an Alpine greenhouse.

Geniale "Lichtinszenierung" und sehr ansprechende Komposition (sogar den Rahmen empfinde ich hier nicht als "Ballast")
Das ist wiedermal ein sehr gelungenes Beispiel (von dir) dafür, dass ein Blumen-/Pflanzenfoto nicht immer nur ein schönes, "scharfes", wohlbelichtetes(=meist langweiliges), etc. Foto sein muss, ... sondern ein absichtlich "in Szene gesetztes", aussergwöhnliches "Kunstwerk" sein kann!
