Weldenia candida is one of the most beautiful members of the Spiderwort family, Commelinaceae. The delicate pure white flowers find their equivalent only in the white flowers of some crocus species. The rare and unusual plant grows in Mexico, at altitudes of more than 3000 meters / 10,000 feet. Thus, Weldenia is a typical plant for an Alpine greenhouse.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Geniale "Lichtinszenierung" und sehr ansprechende Komposition (sogar den Rahmen empfinde ich hier nicht als "Ballast")
Das ist wiedermal ein sehr gelungenes Beispiel (von dir) dafür, dass ein Blumen-/Pflanzenfoto nicht immer nur ein schönes, "scharfes", wohlbelichtetes(=meist langweiliges), etc. Foto sein muss, ... sondern ein absichtlich "in Szene gesetztes", aussergwöhnliches "Kunstwerk" sein kann!
