There've been a few minutes of sun and blue sky today - time to take a picture!
 I chose to photograph one of my Scilla rosenii - a rarely seen but highly elegant squill that produces by far the largest flowers of the genus!  This species is really well-mannered and doesn't spread loads of seedlings all around. So if you ever get the chance to buy some bulbs of this treasure - do not hesitate!  Full size view is advantageous! The contrast of the photo is slightly enhanced; flower stem and tips of the two petals at the bottom are copied from the unframed picture into the framed version. |
