Artist's Comments

This is a view of one of my perennial borders in eastward direction, early in the morning. The first rays of the sun just touch the plants in the foreground and the midground while others are still in the shadow of the hedge. :)

Foreground: Marsh Spurge (Euphorbia palustris)
Midground left: Chinese Rhubarb (Rheum palmatum 'Tanguticum' )
Midground right: Dusky Cranesbill (Geranium phaeum)
Background: Solomon's Seal (Polygonatum 'Weihenstephan', almost shaded)

Full view is very recommended! ;)
