Lost in Red

Tillandsia funckiana is another beautiful species of this amazing genus of plants that grow in the air - with no soil.

I guess these quite large and vividly red colored flowers attract hummingbirds as pollinators - but I cannot prove this since there aren't any of these cute birds here.
