Well, this pic's merely a try but I want to know what you think about it. ;)

The flowers are those of Lilium martagon album (White Martagon lily). Photomanip with PS.

My skill in Japanese is still aweful, hopefully it's correct and one can read the text. I've intended the following meaning:

What's called the life of a lily, is a transient thing

The treatment of the flowers is beautiful! There are two things I'd change to stay in keeping with the minimalist Japanese style. First, the lettering would be in the same white as the flowers & a smaller narrower font if possible. The orange bars are too loud & compete with the lovely stamens - either narrow them significantly or change the colour to the soft green on the back of the petals. :handshake:

I agree with wytrvn about the bars, but overall this has the feel of a japanese painting perfectly! :clap: and :thumbsup:

Eine sehr ungewöhnliche, aber reizvolle Arbeit. Mir gefällt das leuchtende weiss der Blüten sehr. :)
